WW2-era Soviet machine gun model, intended to be used in an FPS game.
Modelled in 3ds Max, baked in Substance Designer, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Marmoset.
I've been casually working on this on and off for about 2 weeks after work - it was a fun project. As a Brit, I don't have a huge amount of experience with guns, so it was really good fun trying to figure out the mechanics of this gun and how it fires/reloads etc. All of the interior parts have been modeled and this asset would support firing/reloading animations.
